Dashboard

The Dashboard page is displayed when you click the Dashboard module on the navigation bar. This page contains the following tabs namely Deployment Status, Protection Status, Protection Statistics and Summary Top 10. It displays all these information graphically in the form of pie charts.

Deployment status

The exact numerical data of all the managed endpoints can be found here. For example: If eScan has been deployed on 50 machines; it will show the details of all the 50 machines namely the updated, not updated, unknown and the total number of managed endpoints.

  1. The eScan Clientchart shows the number of endpoints where eScan has been installed, not installed, and unknown.
  2. The License chart shows the number of licenses that were activated, remaining, and total number of licenses purchased.
  3. The eScan Version chart shows the total number of eScan versions installed on the computers on the network.

Protection Status

The exact numerical data of all the managed endpoints can be found here. For example: If eScan has been deployed on 50 machines; it will show the details of all the 50 machines namely the updated, not updated, unknown and the total number of managed endpoints.

  1. The Update Status chart shows the number of endpoints where eScan has been updated, not updated, and the status is unknown.
  2. The Scan Status chart shows the number of endpoints that were scanned or not scanned for virus and malware infections in the last 30 days.
  3. The File Antivirus chart shows the number of endpoints where the File Antivirus module is in started state, stopped state, the antivirus module is not present, and the number of endpoints where the Status is unknown.
  4. The Proactive chart shows the number of endpoints where Proactive scanning is in started state, stopped state, the module is not available and where the status is unknown.
  5. The Mail Antivirus chart shows the number of endpoints where mail antivirus module is in started state, stopped state, and are unknown.
  6. The Anti-Spam chart shows the endpoints where the anti-spam module is in a started state, stopped state, unknown state, and unavailable.
  7. The Web Anti –Phishing chart shows the number of endpoints where Web Anti-phishing is enabled, disabled, unknown, eScan has been updated, not updated, and the status is unknown.
  8. The Mail Anti – Phishing chart shows the number of endpoints where mail-anti-phishing is enabled, disabled, unknown and unavailable.
  9. The Web Protection chart shows the number of endpoints where the Web- Protection is module is in started state, stopped state, unavailable and status is unknown.
  10. The Firewall chart shows the number of endpoints where Firewall is in started state, stopped state, the module is not available and where the status is unknown.
  11. The Endpoint Security chart shows the number of endpoints where Endpoint Security module is in started state, stopped state, unavailable and the status is unknown.
  12. The Privacy chart shows the number of endpoints where Privacy module is in started state, stopped state, unavailable and the status is unknown.

Protection Statistics

This will display the module activity of all the managed computers. For example: The files that were disinfected, quarantined, deleted, access denied, USB allowed or blocked et cetera.

  1. The File Anti-Virus chart shows the number of files disinfected, quarantined, deleted and access denied by the File Anti-Virus module.
  2. The Mail Anti-Virus chart shows the number of allowed, quarantined, deleted, and disinfected e mails detected by the Mail Anti-Virus module.
  3. The Anti-Spam chart shows the number of emails deleted and quarantined by the Anti-Spam module.
  4. The Web Protection chart shows the number of Web sites allowed or blocked by the Web Protection module.
  5. The Endpoint Security-USB chart shows the number of endpoints where USB access allowed and blocked.
  6. The Endpoint Security-Application' chart shows the number of applications allowed or blocked by this module.

Summary Top 10

This will display the Summary of the Top 10 activities and status of all the managed computers.

  1. It will display the Top 10 Computer infected count.
  2. It will display the Top 10 USB Blocked count.
  3. It will display the Top 10 Application blocked by computer Name.
  4. It will display the Top 10 Application allowed by Computer Name.
  5. It will display the Top 10 Websites blocked by computer Name count.
  6. It will display the Top 10 Websites allowed by computer Name.

Note: Icons at the top of every chart denote that the information is displayed for computers with respective operating systems (Windows, Mac or Linux). To know more details about the computers, click on the number of computers links for listed options.

Asset Changes

This tab displays summary of all the hardware such as RAM, CPU, Motherboard and Hardisk changes alog with software changes on the managed endpoints. IT displays the list of the hardware changes and the list of software installed or uninstalled on managed endpoints.
