How do I disable the eScan Password prompt window when eScan Web Protection is ON (eScan ver.10)?
Solution
To disable the Password prompt window, displayed while internet browsing, when the web protection is on, please follow the below steps:
- Go to start > run and type regedit and press enter
- Then go to following registry entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MicroWorld\ContentFiltering
- make the below entry
showdialog (Reg_Dword) value = 0
This will not display the password prompt window but will show the Access Denied Page.
NOTE: Apply the latest eScan Hotfix before applying the above settings;(click here to go to the Hotfix download link).
