Q. Am facing problem in executable files. All exe files are opening in Wordpad, operating system is windows 2003 server


Solution:

1. Open Registry Editor ( Click here for How to start the windows registry editor? )

2. Locate [ HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ FileExts \ .exe ]

  Application   wordpad.exe

3. Remove wordpad.exe from the application key value

4. Close the Registry Editor

5. Reboot the system
