Best Practices for Unsubscribing from Unwanted E-mails

Here is a list of best practices that you can follow to unsubscribe from unwanted e-mails:

  1. Add the sender to the blacklist of your Anti-Spam program.
  2. If the sender’s e-mail id varies but has specific keywords that identify the e-mail, create an inbox rule to move the messages to the spam mail folder. Also save that email as .eml file and then attach that file to your drafted email and send it to spam@escanav.com.
  3. Do not open spam e-mails.
  4. If the domain names in the header and body of the e-mail do not match the, do not unsubscribe from the message. Instead, add the domain name to the blacklist.
  5. If the URL in the unsubscribe link does not appear to be familiar, do not unsubscribe. Instead, add the sender to the black list.
  6. If the sender of the spam e-mail is always same, blacklist the sender.
