Q. On eScan Clients, I want to change the Mail-Server IP number to which warning messages should be sent. How do I do it from the eScan Server?
A. Run eScan Content Administrator
- Click on Scanner Administration - Port Configuration (...)
- Put the desired SMTP address in the field
"Warnings to SMTP Server"
- Save and exit out of eScan Content Administrator.
- Double-click on eScan Management Console (eServ)
- Click on Services - Deploy Rule-Sets.
- Click on MailScan Settings - Click on Deploy.
When clients pull the update, it will take the Mail-Server IP to the SMTP Address that you have entered above.
