Q. I had a customer reporting that with eScan installed, his XP machine was constantly crashing (BSOD) with an error referencing avkfilt.sys. All other XP machines on the network, running the same version of eScan, were experiencing no problems! What could be the possible remedy?
A. Turn off the Alerter service within the Window's services. This should solve your problem.
