eScan - Troubleshooting

Q. If AV for SMB ( awn2k3smk.exe ) trying to install on windows 2003 server or windows 2003 SBS server, It never ask whether to make that system client or server....


Solution:

  1. Uninstall eScan from that system.
  2. Download esremove.exe (click here to download)
  3. Run this file on that system by double clicking it.
  4. Once this exe is finished it will give message saying that "eScan" removed successfully".
  5. Then install the awn2k3smk.exe again.
This should resolve the problem. If not please report this to qa@mwti.net with full details and logs.
