1. Open Registry Editor ( Click here for How to start the windows registry editor? ) 2. Locate [ HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ FileExts \ .exe ] Application wordpad.exe 3. Remove wordpad.exe from the application key value 4.
