My eScan Clients shows eScan update server as Unknown Host.
Solution:-
eScan server sends a UDP broadcast to all the clients. And whichever eScan client(s) are listening to this request will get the server ip address automatically. But If your subnet is connected with ROUTER then the Broadcast will not travel to different subnet. Because ROUTER does not route broadcast messages.
In this case you need to allow eScan UDP broadcast in router configuration.
If all the eScan clients are in same subnet then check whether eScan server announcement is on or not.
