eScan web-protection blocks my local ip based intranet website. How should I stop eScan web-protection from blocking intranet website?
Solution:-
To allow blocking of IP based local intranet from being blocked by eScan web-protection, follow the below settings:
- Open Command Prompt,
- Go to the eScan Installed Directory path,
- Open file Mailscan.ini with Notepad,
- Search for IPIgnoreList=
- Enter the IP (for eg. the local intranet ip) you want to allow,
- Save & Close.
- Run mailscan.exe from the command prompt (from the eScan directory) & restart the browser.
- Reboot of the system is recommended
