eScan web-protection blocks my local ip based intranet website. How should I stop eScan web-protection from blocking intranet website?

Solution:-

To allow blocking of IP based local intranet from being blocked by eScan web-protection, follow the below settings:

  1. Open Command Prompt,
  2. Go to the eScan Installed Directory path,
  3. Open file Mailscan.ini with Notepad,
  4. Search for IPIgnoreList=
  5. Enter the IP (for eg. the local intranet ip) you want to allow,
  6. Save & Close.
  7. Run mailscan.exe from the command prompt (from the eScan directory) & restart the browser.
  8. Reboot of the system is recommended
